Kathy Osborn is a painter based in Hudson, New York. She was an award-winning illustrator for 25 years, with work featured in several publications. Since she began her painting career in 2014, her work has been exhibited in New York City, Miami, Toronto, and Paris. She is represented by Susan Eley and some pieces are available at Artsy.
Kathy grew up in Rochester, NY, and earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. As an illustrator living in Little Italy and Brooklyn, she created twenty covers for the New Yorker and countless illustrations for Rolling Stone, The New York Times, GQ, Atlantic Monthly, and many other publications. She also illustrated eight children’s books. She completely switched gears with her personal painting, marrying her passion for vintage dolls and tableaux with the ambiguity and interpretation found only in fine art.
